Our old buddy Adogg found some info on the new Bond game Quantum Of Solace being developed. Seems that Beenox is working with Treyarch on Quantum of Solace, the (soon to be) anticipated 007 game. I am very pleased to see that it will be on PC as well as the popular consoles, so rumors of Activision dropping PC games are unfounded (for the very near future anyway). Discuss on our forums!
Activision recently confirmed that the company’s newest blockbuster franchise, James Bond, featuring the world-renowned top secret agent 007 is in development by powerhouse studios Treyarch, Beenox and Vicarious Visions for next-generation consoles, Windows PC and hand-held platforms. Expect more details to be announced in the coming months!
What to Expect: Quantum of Solace is a bit of a misnomer for this upcoming Bond game. For one, it’s based both on the upcoming Bond movie, but it also features scenes from the previous movie, Casino Royale. And normally we roll our eyes at movie-based games, but what we’ve seen of this one has us excited. It’s built on the Call of Duty 4 engine, so the visuals look very sharp, and there’s a great blend of gameplay. And if the games take after the movies, hopefully we won’t have any silly gadgets but rather an emphasis on stealth action and combat. Come on Mister Bond, and prove that nobody does it better.
